Design features include;
- Quick and easy battery change - without having to remove the radio from the pouch.
- Gap at the side so it doesn't interfere with the pressel switches, thus preventing accidental transmission.
- Top holding strap fits snugly around the selector and volume switches.
- Attaches to your issued yoke strap so that it sits in the correct place.
- Allows easy application of the auxiliary lead.
