Things at Dixies Corner are changing for the better!  A new material is being introduced to match the MTP kit you are being issued; below is a brief explanation of what is happening...

As you know, the MOD has changed the colour of your issued kit from DPM to the new MTP (Multi-Terrain Pattern).  When they announced this they also stated that they would not allow anyone else to produce products in MTP unless they were for MOD contracts.  This means that manufacturers like us were unable to start producing our own products in MTP to match.

To get around this problem we bought in 'Multicam' material, which is a similar design to MTP but which doesn't infringe on the MOD’s strict rules.  Whilst Multicam was the closest colour match to MTP as we could buy, it had its disadvantages including import costs from the USA, and the fact it is only 'Near IRR' not full IRR.

However, a new material has been designed by a British company which is very similar in appearance to MTP but which doesn't infringe any MOD licensing laws.  Its design and colour is almost identical to MTP and it is also fully IRR - this new material is called 'Vista' Multi-Terrain Camoflage.

We at Dixies Corner are now starting to change over to producing all our own kit in the new Vista material. This includes our webbing and hippo pads, chest rigs and yokes, pouches, folder holders, and anything bespoke which we manufacture for individual customers.  The products which we buy in from other companies, such as Webtex, will still be in Multicam unless they change to Vista as well.

As will inevitably happen when a change such as this is introduced, there will be a transitional period when some products in our shop will still be available in Multicam, and others will be produced in the new Vista.  We will try and keep our online product information up to date with which material it will be produced in, but there may be instances where a product is advertised as being in Multicam, but produced in Vista.  We would like to apologise in advance if this happens with a product you have ordered.
