A large pad that can be added to your Bergan so it wraps around your hips, improving comfort. Similar to the padded styles seen on civilian Rucksacks, this is made to Military specifications and uses 'Spacetec' fabric, rather than just thick padding, thus improving breathability.
Transfers approx 25 - 30% of the bergans weight off your shoulders and onto your hips. Particularly beneficial for those who find their bergan rubs their hips.
'Spacetec' spacer fabric is lightweight, yet it doesn't hold water, is crush resistant, and allows air to flow freely through it. See photo for close up of material used.
New Option; You can now choose to have a Cobra Buckle fitted, which is a type of quick release buckle (see pic).
